Battery Service

Before your car's battery is completely dead, it will give off warning signs. These include:

• Low Lights and Power - Have you noticed that the headlights or interior lights in your Mazda vehicle aren't as bright as they normally are? This could be because your car's battery is losing its charge. If your radio or other interior technology also seems to be lagging, a battery power issue may be the cause.
• Hard Starts - When you go to start your vehicle, especially when it's been sitting overnight, does it take a while to start up? Your car's battery provides power to the starter, so this may be a sign that the battery is dying. You'll want to have it checked out to see if the battery needs to be replaced.
• Jump Starts Needed - Sometimes your car will need a jump start if a light is left on or a door is left open. However, if your car requires frequent jump starts, it may be a sign that the battery is on its way out. You'll want to have the battery replaced before it can't be jump-started the next time.
• Doesn't Start - A dead battery will leave your vehicle without power to get started. You'll need to have the battery replaced before your vehicle moves again.
