Brake Service

Your Mazda model will show signs when your brakes need to be repaired. These include:

• Brake Warning Light - If you see a brake warning light on your dashboard, don't ignore it. You'll want to get to a service center as soon as possible. If the light starts to flash, pull over when it's safe to do so and call a garage right away.

• Squealing or Loud Sound - If a loud squealing can be heard every time you press the brake pedal, most likely your brake pads are in need of repair. You'll want to schedule a brake service appointment to have your brake pads replaced.
• Spongy Brake Pedal - When you use the brake, does the pedal go all the way to the floor? This could be a sign that your brake fluid or brake line is damaged. A technician can check to make sure everything with your brake fluid is working well.
